Raymond W. La Count

Raymond W. La Count, 87, native and longtime resident of Green Bay Wisconsin, passed away on Feb. 8, 2018 in Sebring Florida. He attended Green Bay Catholic schools and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning to Green Bay, Ray met the love of his life, Shirley Sipiorski, when they both worked in the offices of Ligman Packing.

They married in June 1955. Ray spent many years working in accounting for Tweet-Garot and retired in 1991. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he held season tickets for many years and the homes they owned were all near Lambeau Field. In retirement the couple settled in Sebring, Florida but returned to De Pere, Wisconsin each summer to stay at St. Norbert College in their summer apartments.

Ray is survived by his wife Shirley; sister, Hazel La Count of Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
