AVON PARK —The roaring 20’s was a perfect time for the Hotel Jacaranda to be born in Avon Park. The land boom was bringing tens of thousands of people to experience the lifestyle Florida had to offer.

Avon Park’s “gracious lady” is listed on the National Historic Register. It’s surprising that this landmark is still a well-preserved piece of Florida history.
