Sounds of music and laughter echoed along Main Avenue Friday night as children danced, visited with Santa and ate Christmas cookies. Meanwhile, adults shopped at local businesses, dined at restaurants, and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks with their family and friends from 6-8 p.m., long after most shops on Main Avenue have typically closed for the day.

During this special Christmas event, police cars blocked Main Avenue from traffic and everyone bustled around on foot. Children danced with glow sticks and neon hula hoops to the sounds pulsing from GNr entertainment. Disk jockey Ben Rose said, ā€œIā€™m glad to see the community come out and have a great time.ā€
