SEBRING — People of all ages came out to enjoy a trip to the North Pole at the first ever Hammock North Pole event at Highlands Hammock State Park on Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16. The Hammock North Pole is one of many fundraising events that the park holds throughout the year and was dreamed up by Nancy Duvall to replace the popular Haunted Hammock event that was canceled due to extensive damage from Hurricane Irma.

All proceeds from these fundraisers go towards the maintenance of Highlands Hammock State Park.
