Puppies rescued from hurricane ravaged Puerto Rico received not only petting, but adoption by dog lovers while China Painting by Drenna Compton and other painters received admiration and raves. Compton won a “Best of Class” ribbon. That was just a part of the 52nd annual Country Fair held Saturday and Sunday at DeVane Park and the Lake Placid Elementary School.

Saturday started out cool, but as the sun snuck out of the clouds, the crowds stormed in to enjoy a weekend in the park, with something for everyone.
