AVON PARK — Those looking for something fresh and exciting were pleasantly surprised this past Saturday, Feb. 10. That was the evening that Black Violin and their “Classical Boom” Tour came to the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts at South Florida State College.

Kev Marcus, violin, and Wil B. on viola, vocals and keyboards, along with their drummer and DJ SPS, were a force to be reckoned with. Combining classical, hip-hop, R&B, funk and anything and everything else they could think of.
