Sebring is internationally known for its racing, most specifically, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts. So it only made sense to see the racing community represented at Saturday’s Senior Expo and Family Extravaganza at Lakeshore Mall, which was sponsored by Boater’s World Marine Centers with Tracker Boats powered by Mercury and presented by the Highlands News-Sun.
The new-look Sebring Corvette pace car was on hand, as well as one of the entrants in next month’s 12 Hours of Sebring, a P1 Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3, which competed in the GTD class. P1 Motorsports is based out of Coconut Creek, which is just north of Fort Lauderdale, and also runs three cars in the IMSA Prototype Challenge Presented by Mazda series, which will be racing in Sebring as a support race for the 12 Hours of Sebring.
