Women’s Club fashion show biggest yet

LAKE PLACID — One hundred and forty attendees got a glimpse of what to expect in women’s clothing this coming spring. It all took place at the annual fashion show, put on by the GFWC of Lake Placid, on Saturday, March 3. The luncheon and show were held at the Lake Placid Elks lodge.

GFWC stands for General Federation of Women’s Club, an organization that boasts of 100,000 ladies from every state, and in over a dozen countries. They are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
