Go slow, small for cold

fishing success

The Florida freshwater fishing forecast for the last half of the first week of January gives anglers of all freshwater fish species the end of the full moon phase today and near freezing temperatures which will slow down the ‘need-to-feed’ cycle considerably.

Since all fish species feed at the same time due to the environmental-factor change-pattern…panfish, crappie, pickerel, gar, bowfin, tilapia, bass, and all bait fish, will now be feeding much less as winter water temperatures slow the cold blooded creature’s metabolisms to a semi-hibernation state as a natural effect.
