Jazz icon Dick Hyman of Venice got in some additional practice just minutes before his March 9 concert with Ken Poplowski at Michael's on East.
These days, many people consider 90 the new 70.
Venice resident Dick Hyman entered his 10th decade this month by performing multiple jazz concerts. Next month, he will pick up the prestigious National Endowment of the Arts Award as one of the top five jazz masters in the U.S.
