Venice women participated in the Florida Women’s Sailing Association’s (FWSA) Rainbow Regatta Monday, March 27, on Sarasota Bay.

The 17 Venice-area competitors are members of the Bitter Ends, based at the Venice Yacht Club. The Bitter Ends is one of 11 women’s sailing clubs that comprise the FWSA. Clubs are located from Venice north to Dunedin. There are some 500 women sailors in the association.
