Building would house city archives

The city of Venice is in the process of buying this property on Milan Avenue with money donated by Julia Cousins Laning with the intention of consolidating the city's archives there and using the Triangle Inn solely as the city museum.

The city of Venice is considering buying a building adjacent to the Cultural Campus to house the city’s archives.

City Manager Ed Lavallee said at Tuesday’s City Council meeting that a contract is being negotiated for the former location of Turner Photography, 224 W. Milan Ave.
