Venice Lions Club expands eyeglass collections

When the Venice Lions Club announced its 70th Anniversary of service to the Venice community, Lion Dr. Ric Namikas called attention to the second part of the anniversary slogan, “Celebrating Our Past, Anticipating Our Future.”

Namikas was referring to a promise by the 56-member service club to move into the future with new and expanded programs that serve the club’s main mission of combating vision and hearing problems.
