Children in yellow hard hats picked up small shovels and ceremonially dug into a pile of dirt Thursday to break ground for a new preschool building at The SKY Family YMCA.

The preschool will be called the Sunshine Education Academy — SEA — a new name for the Y’s existing preschool, which will move into the new facility. It currently serves 132 children.
