Dr. Howard Kestenberg describes his mother Judith after whom the Chabad of Venice Educational Center is named. Dr. Judith emigrated from Austria and studied in the United States.

Rabbi Shalom Schmerling saw his dream come true as he addressed a crowd of well over 100 at the dedication of the Dr. Judith Kestenberg Education Center.

“This is one small step for this community and one large step for Judaism,” he said and smiled as he looked out at members and friends of the Chabad of Venice.
