A Quarter Auction event benefiting the Friends of Shannon Staub Public Library took place Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club off South Biscayne Drive in North Port.

The Quarter Auction generated more than $2,000 to help fund the many programs coming up at the new library.
