NORTH PORT — While mapping technology may be used every day by North Port residents, city staffers are hoping to teach the community a bit more about just what the technology is — and how it is used by city government.
“There’s lot of apps that use that type of mapping technology,” said Erin Bryce, General Services communications coordinator. “We at the city use the same technology to map out where water lines are located and roads and sidewalks and street lights or signs — you can see the gamut in which we use it.”
