Jay Matthews bought his first cards when he was 6 and never stopped. He never sold his cards over the years but he did give some away to friends. But he finally made the decision to let an auction company get rid of them -- all 3 million.

Jay Matthews sits on some of his 3 million baseball cards in his Nokomis home. Each box holds 5,000 cards. Those cards are now in the posession of an auction company, which estimates the cards will sell for $100,000 to $150,000.
