Honks and cheers filled the air Tuesday as teachers picketed, demanding higher pay from the Sarasota County School District.

“School Board in Sarasota doesn’t care about their teachers,” “Honk to support SCSB Employees” and “Fair pay increases for teachers and staff” were just some of the messages seen along Tamiami Trail across from the Landings Administrative complex.
