NORTH PORT — North Port residents Carol Lazzeri and Cheryl Doyle called upon a local sculpture to inspire their recently released novel, “Inn of Three Graces.”
Sculptor Sophie Johnstone was commissioned to created the sculpture, called The Three Graces, back in the late 1950s. It depicts three dancing women and is located at the entrance of Warm Mineral Springs. Also known locally as The Dancing Ladies, the sculpture serves as a homage to the springs’ promise of eternal youth.
