‘Vettes’ gather in Venice Sunday

A Corvette fan marks its favorite car in a recent Corvette Club Show. The popular sports cars will fill Centennial Park Sunday.

Centennial Park will be filled with 165 Corvettes competing for prizes in the local Corvette Club’s annual winter show Sunday, March 11. Top awards include the mayor’s award, the Norma Jean’s Sports Bar and Grill award, and the Best of Show award presented on behalf of club sponsor Bill Buck Chevrolet.

The first Venice Corvette Club show was held in January 2003 at Bill Buck Chevrolet. On Sunday, March 11, the club will fill Centennial Park from 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m.

Award presentations will begin at 2 p.m.
