The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 33rd Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Tuesday morning, honoring Florida officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. The event is held each year during National Police Week, May 13-19.

The service was held before an audience of residents and uniformed officers outside the new Sheriff’s Office headquarters on Cattleridge Boulevard in Sarasota.
