ENGLEWOOD — At some point during the Sarah Lutz show on Tuesday night, Kayla Reid also scored her 1,000th career point.

Both were good storylines, but the ultimate news of the day was Lemon Bay High School’s 62-21 defeat of Hardee in the District 5A-11 semifinal. The win puts the Manta Rays in Friday’s district title game against Sebring, and earns them a berth in next week’s regional quarterfinal.
