“I just drew a heart because it represents God, and wings because of my mom — she’s an angel now.”

Ten-year-old Alyssa Lynn’s mother had passed away several years ago, but she still chose to draw a special Mother’s Day design in a contest that Classic Creations jewelers conducted during a YMCA spring break camp in Venice.
