Keeping kids fed

In tough economic times like these, many families find it difficult to keep a roof over their heads, much less serve their children the well-balanced meals they require.
During the school year, Sarasota County families can get some assistance from the school district through its before-school and during-school nutrition programs, which offer breakfast and lunch to children who qualify.
