Teens help those in desperate need

More than a dozen members of the “VCN Teens” youth group stood shoulder-to-shoulder next to the pulpit Sunday morning, July 20. They were eager to tell the congregation at Venice Church of the Nazarene about their recent missions trip to the Sunday Breakfast Mission (SBM) in Wilmington, Del.

Some wore the turquoise T-shirts worn during the trip that had these words emblazoned: “I am here to serve.” While each one made a brief comment, Hannah Dale, 17, said what any missions leader would want to hear.
