North Venice headquartered PGT Innovations, Inc., the leading U.S. manufacturer and supplier of impact-resistant windows and doors, announced that while the third quarter sales were solid, they were down somewhat because of Hurricane Irma.
“We ended the quarter (Sept. 30) with sales of $127 million, down 2 percent compared to the prior year, due to the first major hurricane to hit our market in 12 years,” said Rod Hershberger, CEO of PGT Innovations. “However, we delivered solid results through July and August, with sales up 5 percent compared to the same two-month period last year.
