Wednesday, Nov. 27, after 6 p.m. is the first day and time chairs can be placed along the median of West Venice Avenue for the 36th Annual Venice Holiday Parade route. Items put out before that day could be confiscated, confirmed Pam Johnson, the Marketing and Communications Officer for the city of Venice.
This is to prevent accidents, obstructions and inconvenience to shoppers, residents and tourists during the days prior to this popular Christmas event on Saturday, Nov. 30. The event is sponsored by the city of Venice and Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
