New direction for Ralph’s Interiors, now 50 years old

Celebrating half a century of service this year, a well-known local business is making significant changes to enhance its services with in-store displays to expand its customer services, which continue to be in demand by customers in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and Desoto counties.

“I was raised in this business with furniture and fabrics, and then I started design interiors,” said Gayle Rector, owner of Ralph’s Interiors at 528 East Venice Avenue. “Daddy owned the Buttery Bahama in Tampa until retiring to Venice. Bored, he decided to start a little business on the island and from that it grew.”
