One step inside Herman’s Market, 701 Shamrock Blvd., midway between South Tamiami Trail and Center Road, and I felt like I was home again.

It took me back to a time and place when I was just coming of age, newly married and making my own selections of cuts of meat at a small deli in Northern Ohio.
