Probably one of the oldest trades of furniture repairs, refinishing and restoration is alive in Venice. Utilizing the Internet, a skilled professional tradesman has taken it into the 21st century.

“When someone needs assistance, I suggest they email a photograph of the damaged item,” Larry Manoly said. “Then I can give them an instant ballpark estimate. If acceptable, I make an appointment, go to their home, finalize the costs and take the order. The job can be done in their home or if too large, will be brought to the workshop.”
