“Thank you consignors! You have built a house!” Those words describe the fascinating journey for items consigned to Fifi’s stores in Venice. An employee’s suggestion to donate items to a local charity has led to local stores funding a new home.

Russell and Roberta Pettigrove own three Fifi’s consignment stores, at 223A and B, W. Miami Ave., and 219 W. Venice Ave., together with a fourth furniture store at The Rialto. Company policy is to maintain stock fresh all the time, so items brought in by consignors go to half price after 30 days and for donation after 60 days.
