Winn-Dixie off to a strong start

A regular customer of Sweetbay, now rebranded Winn-Dixie, Riley Doyle of Venice is seen pushing his loaded cart following his first visit to the rebranded supermarket at 458 U.S. Bypass North. The rebranding to Winn-Dixie of the two Venice Sweetbay stores has been a significant success, according to early indications from shoppers.

The secret may be the desire to come in and see what is new because the store was closed for five days during transition, said Meredith Holland, field account manager for Bi-Lo Holdings.
