Sharky’s adds solar panels, free charging stations

The solar panels at Sharky's provide enough power to send electricity to two free charging stations for electric cars and golf carts.

VENICE — Even if the Pachota family, owners of Sharky’s at the Pier and Fins at Sharky’s, were not to benefit from their recent investment in solar energy, at least the restaurant patrons traveling to the location will get a perk.

Those using electric-powered cars and golf carts can recharge free. Even better, estimates are that the project should pay for itself in six years.
