A recent public opinion poll about Hurricane Irma had some positive news for Gov. Rick Scott’s political fortunes but troubling signs for emergency management officials looking to the future.
According to the Jacksonville-based Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, Scott got high marks for leadership. The governor took a highly visible role before, during and after Irma, a frightening Category 4 hurricane that struck Southwest Florida Sept. 10.
