South Venice problems need to be cleaned up

Too many lots in South Venice are allowed to to deteriorate where shrubbery and weeds are not trimmed. In some areas, the shrubbery has grown into the road.

My wife and I moved to South Venice eight years ago because it was a quiet, nice place to live. It has a mixture of older, middle-aged and younger families.

Even the vacant lots with wild natural shrubbery were taken care of. The county had the grass cut and the bushes trimmed on these lots so that the trees and shrubs did not grow out into the road.
