Gov. Rick Scott is opening the state’s wallet in an election year and it is much appreciated by those who will benefit most — and in most cases that means children.
Recently, we gave kudos to the governor for stuffing his budget with $7 million for Healthy Families Florida and $3.6 million for Early Steps, which screens the youngest children for disabilities and delays.
