Woman exemplifies how to accept life’s trials

Ann Favreau is not the kind of woman to allow a life-threatening illness to take her down. She is a person who when diagnosed with colorectal cancer nearly 30 years ago chose to beat the odds and learn to live her life with a new sense of “normal.”

It helped that she had a loving husband, Ray, to support her through her ordeal, as well as other family members and friends. (Her family now comprises Ray, four children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.)
