Concept plans for the new, planned Venice Regional Bayfront Health hospital to be built in East Venice by the roundabout were revealed by VRBH CEO Bob Moore to members of the Venice Nokomis Rotary Club this week.

“We are excited about the new hospital, and we have started the process with our zoning application with the county on the new hospital,” Moore said. “We will be investing about $212 million on the site to meet the needs of this community. It is a convenient inland location avoiding some storm issues and providing a new facility not too far off the interstate, yet convenient for the island.”
