Shower for homeless

now being built

There's a lot of activity in the garage area of Christ United Methodist Church as volunteer church and community members pull together to build a portable shower building that will house two shower stalls for use by area homeless. Once completed, the shower will be moved to its permanent location at Center of Hope Church.

It won’t be long before area homeless people will be able to shower before breakfast.

Volunteers with Christ United Methodist Church (CUMC) have been working diligently since November to plan and build a structure that will house two shower stalls.
