Current Greenfield Prize winner, Nilo Cruz, reaps a bonus befitting the Cultural Coast.

“His Greenfield Prize is a $30,000 commission for a new play, but while the money is great, there is much more,” said Bruce Rodgers, executive director of the Hermitage Artist Retreat. “The winner has fundamentally unlimited residency at The Hermitage. The Asolo Theatre will be working with Nilo in the development of the work, and in two years, we look forward to seeing some sort of exposure to the work.”
