Outside their new Habitat for Humanity South County home in Laurel, the Graham family (l-r, Talajah Platt, Synae-Jah Williams, Marissa Graham, Alvin Johnson and, in front, Austin Bowman) all are excitedly waiting to moving in when the home is completed next month.
It is a dream come true for the Graham family, who within a few weeks will for the first time have a home of their own, near family and friends — with much of the credit going to generous people they will probably never see or meet.
For the donors — the consignors to Fifi’s stores in Venice and particularly the store owners, Roberta and Russell Pettigrew — it is the satisfaction of seeing the fulfillment of a job well done.
