This poor little guy (nicknamed Anakin) is pictured with the balloon he ate. A beach goer spotted the string coming from his mouth. Mote turtle experts were able to get it out and send him home.

Imagine a 2-year-old toddling over the sand at the beach — and into a hole left by someone digging a hole to China or mining for shark teeth.

Screams and tears result from such a surprise even though there likely is no real damage to a human toddler.
