The 50-year-old Venice Beach Pavilion is in need of a makeover, according to Kathy Cushing, and she hopes to get the Venice Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to agree with her.

To make her case, Cushing, the owner of Venice Street Legal, an island shuttle service, has prepared a presentation complete with photos of people changing their clothes at the pavilion in the open, rusted grates and moldy floors and dead landscaping.
