Chicago pitcher’s ‘Miracle Belt’ helps local kids

Children with Autism, ADHD and many other sensory-based disorders living in the Sarasota County area can thank a Sarasota-born Chicago Cubs pitcher for creating a product that could help improve their lives.

Matt Bruback was playing for the team in 2001 when he sustained an injury to his right kneecap directly affecting his balance. That incident lead to the creation of a weighted belt to help athletes with sensory deficits.
