Howard “Howie” Parlin Sanborn, D.D.S., 85, a resident of Village On The Isle in Venice, Fla., formerly of Summit, N.J., died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013.
Howie was born June 24, 1928, in Trenton, N.J. to Ruth (Parlin) and C. Howard Sanborn. A graduate of The Hackley School, Drew University and Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery, he served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. Howie practiced dentistry in Summit, N.J., for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret “Peg”; son, Chase, of Toronto, Ontario; daughters, Devin of Hopkinton, Mass., Bonnie Henn of Durham, N.H., and Lynn Campbell of Central, S.C.; five grandchildren; and brothers John and Donald, both of Venice, Fla.
