She joins her late husband of 72 years, Francis H. Sampson.

Edith leaves four daughters, Elizabeth A. Mettler-Ptacek, of Venice, Fla., Brenda S. Robinson of Kennebunk, Maine, Marcia J. Karasoff of Atlantis, Fla., and Deborah A. Mrs. Sampson and her husband moved to Venice, Fla., in 1978 from Bedford, N.H. Her working life was very active. She was a beautician for many years and later assisted her husband in his bottled gas and appliance business in Billerica, Mass. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
