Hugh Edward Warren, age 85, of Venice, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Venice, Fla.
He was born in East Tallassee, Ala., and a former resident of the Washington, D.C., area and Bethany Beach, Del.
He was the beloved husband for 35 years of Mary (Williamson) Warren. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Mitzi Brown and husband, Ron, Michelle Warren and Kathleen Morton and husband, Dale; grandchildren, Peter Lee, Christina (Michael) Council, Kelley (Jason) Garcia and Brendan and Bethany Morton; seven great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Casey.
Hugh worked in space-timing applications from 1959 to 2012. He received the Collier Foundation award as a member of the GPS Development Team.
