Marilyn Anne McEntee, 85, of Venice, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014.
She was born Aug. 14, 1928, to C.B. Miller and Myrrhl Bowman Miller in Saskatchewan, Canada. At age 2, she and her immediate family moved to Indianapolis, Ind., where she lived for 40 years. In her remaining years, she was a resident of Venice, Fla., working in the local real estate field before her retirement.
She was a graduate of Stephens College at Columbia, Mo.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Charles, Allen, David and Edward Miller; and sisters, Isabelle Anderson, Fredda Abbett and Betty Miller. Marilyn was also preceded in death by husbands Hugh Kibbey and Harry Wright.
She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) McEntee; stepson, Dennis McEntee; stepdaughter, Barbara Lerner; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Visitation will be held for Marilyn on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Ewing Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 24, at Epiphany Cathedral, Venice, Fla. Burial will be held at a later date at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, Fla.
