Lloyd E. Kipp, 85, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Springfield, Mo., passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2014, following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 26,1928.
Mr. Kipp was a prominent builder of custom homes in Springfield, Mo., for some 40 years. He developed numerous subdivisions, apartment complexes, hotels and shopping centers before retiring to Venice, Fla., in 2001.
Mr. Kipp is survived by his wife, Urith, of Venice, Fla.; daughter, Karen Fielden, and her husband, J.D.; granddaughter, Kristen Russell, and her husband, Mike; and great-grandson, Rykin Russell, all of Rogersville, Mo.
Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at the Venice Golf & Country Club Clubhouse. Funeral arrangements are by National Cremation, Sarasota, Fla.
